Happening: Umahi’s Militias Group Spilling Blood Of Opposition Parties In Ohaozara, OYC Raises Alarm

*Implores IGP to deploy his men

The Apex Socio-cultural youth organization of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Ohanaeze Youth Council, OYC, says the council has just got wind of an ongoing attack of opposition parties, by Governor David Umahi’s Militia Killers Squads in Ebonyi State.

Briefing news men in Abuja, Wednesday 22 February, 2023 the national President of OYC, Comrd. Igboayaka O. Igboayaka who decried the “reign of anachy”, called on Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba to immediately deploy special squad Security Team “to avert more spill of blood by Gov Umahi’s Militia Killers Squad”.

“Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr Usman Baba must as a matter of urgency invite Gov David Umahi over his terrorism activities in Ebonyi, or anarchy will loom.

Comrade Igboayaka O Igboayaka lamented that there has been an ongoing attack of opposition party members at Amata Uburu, in Ohaozara local government Ebonyi State from 7 am on Wednesday 22nd February 2023.

“There is an ongoing sprodic shooting in that area, villagers are scraping for life. Over hundred villagers have received gunshots wounds.

“My reliable source told me that Gov David Umahi’s Militias squad killers could be seen with cutlasses and guns.”

Condemning the act, Comrade Igboayaka wailed that “it’s unfortunate that Governor David Umahi by all means, wants to impose himself and his incompetent and murderous Guber Candidate Hon Francis Nwifuru and other mediocre on the people as against their wish on February 25 and March 11 general elections in Ebonyi State.

“Gov Umahi must know his boundaries, any attempt to intimidate, harass and kill innocent Ebonyi must be confronted with appropriate violence by Igbo youths. The tyrannical rulership of Umahi has reached its peak and should be urgently addressed by all concerned security agents in Nigeria, before he plunges Ebonyi into anarchy”, Igboayaka warned.
