Embrace Professionalism, AIG Fayoade, Charges New CP, Moshood, Others

The Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Fayoade M. Fayoade today 10th day of March, 2025 decorated newly promoted Assistant Commissioners of Police at the Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

He used the opportunity to appreciate the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D. NPM and the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC) for approving the promotion of the new Assistant Commissioners of Police.

In his brief charge, the Head of the Zone 2 Police Command, AIG Adegoke Fayoade enjoined them to be professional and rule of law compliant in their dealings with members of the public and also be dedicated in the fight against crime and criminality in their respective areas of jurisdiction as new rank connotes new responsibilities. He did emphasize that to whom much is given, much is expected, noted the press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Zonal PRO, CSP Ayuba Tunni Umma.

The newly promoted Officers while expressing gratitude to the Almighty also appreciated the IGP Kayode Egbetokun for finding them deserving of the enviable rank as they promise to live up to expectations and be more responsible in their respective duty posts.
 
The event was well attended by senior police officers, including the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Moshood Jimoh, Deputy Commissioner of Police, DC Zonal CID, DCP Adewale Ajao, Deputy Commissioner of Police, DC Administration, Lagos Command, DCP Salihu Khan among other officers, families of the promoted officers and well wishers, who commended the Police leadership for its commitment to merit-based promotions and professionalism in the Force.
