Easter Celebration: Show Love To One Another, Abia Online Media Family Tells Abians

Abia Online Media Publishers, the Umbrella body of all Online Media Practitioners in Abia state have charged Abians and every Christian to endeavour to show love to one another especially the destitute in the neighbourhood, as they observe the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In an Easter Message endorsed by the Chairman, Comrade Ugochukw Nwankwo, Abia Online Media Practitioners enjoined Abians not to forget the original essence of the celebration which focuses on the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the atonement of sin.

The group, who wishes Christian faithful across the globe a wonderful Easter Sunday celebration, charged Abians to show love to one another this season, emphasizing that the sufferings Christ passed through on his way to Golgotha, a place of skull before crucifixion, death and resurrection should ignite some thoughts in Christians.

They also commended the Abia State government for relaxing the stay at home order which will end today at 2 p.m, urging Abians to celebrate in  modesty amid the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, stressing that Abia cannot dash the gains recorded so far in the fight to avoid the Virus from entering the state.

Furthermore, the group reminded Abians that “maintaining a good social distancing, washing of hands regularly with soap, use of alcohol based hand sanitizers, remains the only way of being safe, expressing hope that the COVID-19 pandemic will in no distance time fizzle out.”
