DELTA Decides: Gbagi Is The Chosen One, God Not Author Of Confusion, Says Obi Okonjo

When God is in a programme; signs follow/God guides his people to successful completion of the programmes.

In 1 Samuel 10:11, When all those who had formerly known him saw him prophesying with the prophets, they asked each other, “What is this that has happened to the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?”

Premise on this, as Deltans look ahead to the governorship election on March 11th 2023, the traditional ruler of Ogwashi-Uku kingdom, Aniocha south local government area of Delta State, His Royal Majesty (HRM), Obi Ifechukwude Okonjo II, has called on the electorate to settle for the gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), His Excellency, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, for the 2023 election.

The monarch, who was represented on Friday February 3rd 2023 by the Palace Secretary, Prince Jude Emordi, insisted that in Gbagi, the State can end her years of search for the right leader to pull away the cliff over which she perilously hangs and avert her drop into total destruction.

The call became imperative as something very significant occured at the palace when the largest private investor in the State, Gbagi, paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty (HRM), Obi Ifechukwude Okonjo II, to hint him of his (Gbagi’s) desire to govern the State.

During the entertainment, as culture demands, the kola nut was broken, for prayers to be offered only for it to be discovered that it has six cotyledons (parts).

The discovery, caused eruption in the palace, as it is a sign of prosperity which means prosperity of the man that prayed and broke the kola nut is guaranteed.

The Kola nut was subsequently prayed on by the wife of the SDP gubernatorial candidate, Justice Sybil Gbagi, JCA, whom the palace already addressed as incoming First Lady. By implication, it means that the former minister of state for education, would be the next governor of the state to succeed Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.

Prince Emordi, who already had some knowledge of Gbagi’s exploits as former minister of state for education, stated that a Gbagi-led administration would fetch Deltans result-driven governance she have been yearning for since it was created in 1999.

According to him, “Gbagi, created 13 Universities including FUPRE, he has brought succour to many lives during the flood. Even the in this palace, I am a living witness to that.

“Our Olizeles and the Obi’s kinsmen can also attest to what I am trying to put before all of us.

“He is a workaholic governor in the waiting. On behalf of His Majesty, it shall be well with you, the Lord will continue to strengthen you.

“The Lord will give you this seat in Delta State, so that you will move Delta State to an enviable height. People will be amazed to see your wonderful works which you have in the pipeline for the people of Delta State.

“There is no doubt that you cherish education, that was why during your tenure as minister for State, education, you brought university to Effurun and others spread across the federation.

“It is a good thing and it is a legacy that we shall bequeath to our children and to our teeming youths so that they will be able to differentiate between their right hand and their keft hand.

“So, we wish you luck sir, and pray that God will catapult you to that position in Delta State. Whatever is your heart desire, the Almighty God will grant it to you”, he added.

The word of a true prophet is always fulfilled no matter the odds. God is not an author of confusion. He clarifies issues for the sake of his words.

God is interested in the leadership of his people/God enthrone his people and confirms them to his glory.

Royal prayer was offered by, Chief Edwin Esemezie, who prayed God to grant the SDP flag bearer, victory at the March 11th election.
