DELTA 2023: What Isoko South LGA Chairman, Delegates Told Gbagi

It was a massive show of support by the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), Isoko south Local Government Area (LGA), when Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, leading governorship aspirant stormed the party to consult the LGA Chairman, Chief Odion Godspower Obaro and other delegates.

 

First, Obaro, said Gbagi, should call on them anytime, they would be there for him.

 

Chief Obaro, recalled that Olorogun Gbagi, played a prominent role that saw the end of the Uzere crisis came to an end, adding that Gbagi, would bring his wealth of knowledge to bear when elected governor come 2023.

 

According to Chief Obaro, there is no gathering where the governorship race would be discussed in Isoko south without mentioning the name of Gbagi, urging him to form a strong-tie relationship with the party leaders particularly the governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.

 

“We took our time to listen to you. We have known you for a long time. You have held many positions in this country and we also know that you can govern this State based on your experiences.

“We know you for settling cases when there are disputes, you will always involve yourself for peace to reign in all the communities and Delta State in general. Some years ago, he was one of the prominent leaders who committed himself financially to make sure that there is peace in Uzere.

 

“You have the capacity, ability and knowledge to govern this state. We pray God to be with you and assist you to succeed in the project. Any day that the issue of governorship will be discussed in Isoko south here, I know your name will be mentioned. You know the top, hold the top.

 

“Call on us anytime, we will be there for you. What we want in Isoko south is someone who will start from where Governor Okowa, will stop. In this your project, may God protect you and keep you and your entourage including your family.

 

“We are going to bring business to your people. I will bring business to your local government, Isoko south”, Gbagi assured them.
