Popular Nollywood Actress Evans Okoro has come out to publicly speak about her husband’s ploy to take her life a, fter one year of marriage.

Evans Okoro called for help from her fans and good hearted Nigerians, lamenting that her husband wants to take her life.

In the video, she alleged that her husband, Chibuzo Erikife wanted to take her money, stressing that she was the one who built her house.
Fans prayed for her and applauded her for speaking up about her situation, also calling for help on her behalf

The actress married Chibuzo last year, and pictures from the ceremony and introduction surfaced online. Barely one year into her marriage, she made a video, claiming that her husband was after her life.

According to her, she has been living in fear and is uncertain about what will happen if she does not speak her truth. She mentioned that her husband threatened to kill her if she left him.

She also revealed that the shoes she owns at home are not her size and that she was done with the marriage. Evans further stated that her husband married her under the impression that she had money, accusing her of showing off her house and claiming that she was the one who built it.

Evans explained that she had written a petition to the police about him but felt unsure about what to do next. She clarified that she had started building the house before they got married.

In the video, Evans revealed that on their wedding day, her husband’s family did not pay the dowry, and her father had been calling them to fulfill this obligation.

This is even as there are speculations that her one year old marriage has collapsed.

She also mentioned that her husband has not been intimate with her as a wife, and despite her complaints to his family, no action had been taken.

Evans Okoro shared an incident where she was called for a job in Lagos, and her husband accompanied her. However, he tried to take the money she earned from the job, but she refused.

She noted that after the trip, her husband did not return to Lagos with her and has not contacted her for two weeks. She reported the issue to his family, but nothing has been done. Soon after, the actress who spoke about her mother’s ordeal began hearing rumors that her husband allegedly wanted to kidnap her, and she even had a dream about it.

Reportedly, a few years ago, Evans Okoro’s house was demolished, and she expressed her distress online. She later showcased the new house she built after the demolition.

Earlier, Evan Okoro had cried out following her experience with the Delta state government.

It will be recalled that the government of Delta State demolished her house and destroyed her plantation and fish farm.
