Breaking!! Abia NUJ returns Victor Ndukwe as chairman

A New Executive of the Abia State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists.(NUJ) has emerged with Comrade Victor Ndukwe reelected as the Chairman of the Union.

Other Members are the Vice Chairman, Comrade Chidi Asonye who is re elected, Comrade Ikechukwu Onuegbu who emerged the new State Council Secretary and Comrade Chibuzor Maduka Iroh who was returned the Financial Secretary.

Speaking while inaugurating the new Executive in Umuahia, the National Vice President South East Zone C, Sir Emmanuel Ifesinachi charged the new elected executive members of the Union to consider the interest, unity and progress of the Union as their top priority.

Ifesinachi enjoined the new Excos of the Union to carry everybody along and ensure that the progress, policies, decisions and activities of the Union are well promoted, calling on members to shun all parochial sentiments and support the new executive to excel.

The Vice President while describing Comrade Victor Ndukwe as a disciplined Unionist, enjoined other members of the Union to support the new Executive members for the growth and progress of the Union State in particular and National at Large.

In his remarks the Zonal Secretary, Southeast Zone C of the NUJ, Comrade Ezenwa Adiuku described the emergence of the new leaders as commendable free,fair as they all emerged unopposed and in line with the constitution of the union and enjoined the new executive of the Union to work as a formidable team in achieving the objectives of the Union.

Responding the re elected Chairman of NUJ Abia State Council, Comrade Victor Ndukwe who dedicated his reelection to God, thanked all for their contributions towards his reelection and assured of putting in his best in the repositioning process of the union.

He assured that he and other leaders will carry members along to attain enviable heights.
