Abia-born entrepreneur, philanthropist, and prominent Labour Party chieftain, “Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (Ofuji),” has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to grassroots political mobilization and the re-election bid of Governor “Dr. Alex Chioma Otti,” ahead of the 2027 general elections.

At a well-attended strategic meeting involving all 13 Ward Executives, Local Government leaders of the Labour Party in Bende Federal Constituency, Abia Arise coordinators, councillors, and key political stakeholders, Anyaso emphasized unity, peace, and intensified grassroots engagement as the party advances its ongoing e-registration exercise.

Speaking on the significance of the gathering, Anyaso noted that the initiative represents “another critical step toward sustaining good governance, strengthening grassroots structures, and ensuring effective coordination across all wards in Bende Federal Constituency.”

He urged party members to “eschew divisiveness, acrimony, and unnecessary rivalry,” stressing that unity remains crucial for electoral success in 2027.

Reaffirming his support for the Labour Party-led administration in Abia, Anyaso declared that “Otti Again 2027 is not just a movement, but a mission,” expressing confidence that the party would achieve a decisive and overwhelming victory at the polls.

The event witnessed a major boost to the movement’s logistics and outreach capacity, with the rollout of the first batch of campaign resources. These included seven executive buses, two Hilux trucks, and over 100 motorcycles designated for security and grassroots mobilization across Bende LGA.

In addition, attendees benefited from the distribution of bags of rice, gift items, and cash donations—further reinforcing the movement’s grassroots appeal.

Party leaders, including the Bende LGA Chairman, Secretary “Thompson Opara,” Women Leader “Mrs. Stephanie N. Alilionwu,” and “Hon. Jonah Ibekwe Anyaogu,” commended Anyaso’s leadership and dedication to empowering party members at all levels.

They praised his efforts in complementing the policies and developmental strides of Governor Otti, particularly through the “Chima Anyaso Foundation,” which they said continues to improve livelihoods across the state.

The stakeholders expressed optimism that the collaboration between Anyaso and Otti would accelerate development in Bende Federal Constituency and Abia State at large, while reaffirming their “unalloyed loyalty and support” for the current administration.
