Aguocha is focused, will represent effectively, Ikwuano Sons, Nwaka, Uke, Ugboaja Express Confidence

Following the past feats as achieved by Rt. Hon. Obi Aguocha, some stakeholders of Ikwuano have expressed unflinching confidence in his emergence as the member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency of Abia State, saying he will give the people their long desired effective representation.
It could be recalled that Aguocha, (the Ogwumabiri 1 of Umuahia), while serving as a President-General of Ohuhu Welfare Development Union, had left notable legacies which, according to his successor and the entire people of Ohuhu, are worthy of emulation.
Addressing newsmen during the thanksgiving ceremony of the Federal Legislator, Comrade Osinachi Nwaka, one of the stakeholders of Labor Party, (LP) Ikwuano Local Government Chapter, without mincing words, said he had enormous confidence in the capability of Aguocha to offer effective representation to the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia.
He said,” I came to honour and attend the thanksgiving service of my big brother Rt. Hon. Obi Aguocha
“I have so much confidence in him. He promised me that he will do alot of work in Ikwuano LGA and we the people of Ikwuano are solidly behind him.
Speaking further, the founder and President of New Era Foundation, Ikwuano described the Federal House member as a ’round peg in a round hole’, as he pledged the support of the people of Ikwuano, while also appealing to him to endeavour to revamp the Council in- toto.
“Rt. Hon. Aguocha has what it takes to represent this Constituency. What he needs to do is to attract development in Ikwuano and our people will continue to support him.”

I have been a supporter of Rt Hon Obi Aguocha and I am here to support him. He has been my good friend and I have been supporting him.
The US based Clinical Psychologist reiterated his unreserved believe in Aguocha, describing him as a focused personality.
Uke maintained that he was self-assured that the latter would leave no stone unturned in making do all of his campaign promises, thus restoring the lost dignity of the Council and the entire Constituency in general.
“I am not worried about him, he is very focus. I know he will deliver,just let him continue to remain focus and carry the people along and as long as he does that we will continue to support him
Meanwhile, he used the medium to implore the renowned former president-general of Ohuhu Development Union to focus mainly on attracting basic social amenities to the Constituency, to enable Ikwuano/Umuahia wear the authentic look as befitting of a State’s capital.
“I want him to pay attention to attracting infrastructures like roads and empowerment most especially the empowerment of the youths”.
Similarly, Chief Charles Ugboaja, lauded Aguocha for leaving legacies for his successor to emulate, “even as he embarked on a higher task of representing the people in the Green Chamber”.
“When I heard about his achievements during his service to his people of Ohuhu, as a President-general, I was startled and so I began to wonder why he refused to make him available to serve the people over the years”.
Continuing, the prominent son of Ariam Usaka Community said: “This is the type of people we want to have as representatives. People who would leave legacies. His late father, Dr. Aguocha was a great man and I am certain he, Aguocha can perform creditably well.”
He, therefore, urged Aguocha to discard distractions and focus on making better the lots of the people, thus restoring their long lost hope, while also reassuring him of the unalloyed support of the people of Ikwuano to enable him succeed.
Meanwhile, famousreporters.com can authoritatively report that the woman leader, Agbama 1, Mrs. Chinwe Peters in an exclusive interview with our Reporter, during aguo thanked God for giving the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia the gift of a man with a heart of gold.
The woman leader gave this remark on December 9, 2022, when Ogwumabiri Umuahia visited the area, to seek their support in the 2023 general election.
Adding, she said: “having lifted many from their state of utter impoverishment both in his immediate Community and beyond.
Mrs. Peters was optimistic about the resounding victory of the LP candidate, reiterating thus: “I really thank God for bringing us here today and for giving us a man like High Chief Aguocha to represent us in the Green Chamber and we are confident that he would win. We shall do all that we can to support him in this struggle and ensure that he emerges. We have endorsed him as our sole candidate for Federal House and we have no doubts about his capacity to make do his promises.
“I pray that God grants him prosperity in all his endeavours because he is a good man; he’s tested and trusted and he must prosper in whatsoever he does.
Earlier in her remarks, the woman leader who prided in the integrity of Aguocha informed the people that the latter would not dash their hope if elected into office.
She said: “This man here impacted immensely on the people of Ohuhu when he served as a president-general. He gave scholarships to many indigent students, gave jobs to some youths, and even empowered many with different skills. So, if he was able to achieve all of those even as just a President-General, going to the Green Chamber, he shall do even more”, she added.
