Abia North: APM Reps Candidate, Obioma Nelson Endorses Senator Orji Kalu’s Re-election Bid

The re-election bid of the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, received a boost today as the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) House of Representatives candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Hon. James Obioma Nelson has endorsed him for second term.

The endorsement, according to the Item-born politician is in recognition of the immense contribution and laudable achievements of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, who represents Abia North Senatorial District.

He attributed his position to not only Senator Orji Kalu’s credentials, but his impressive transformational performance in the provision of dividends of democracy in last three years.

He pledged the loyalty of his supporters and that of his party to Senator Orji Kalu and vowed to work for his victory at the February 25 election.

Obioma Nelson noted that they have handed over the APM structure in Bende Federal Constituency and flag of existence to Senator Kalu because, in Senator Kalu, they see performance, capacity, brilliance and competence.

“I am endorsing him because this very election we are is going into is going to be different kind of election from what we have been previously having. Now we are looking at performance; we are looking at individuals, we are not looking at party affiliations. If we see an individual that will give us the dividends of democracy, that will put smiles on the people’s faces, that will bring down what we need down to the grassroot, what else do we need? It is to endorse him, and that is why I am here to endorse Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.

“I am using this opportunity to urge the people of Abia North Senatorial District to unite and reelect Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, because he has performed excellently well, and I am sure he will do more if reelected in 2023,” he said.
