GOMEP-NG Felicitates Ben Igbakpa on Tinubu Door-to-Door Campaign Appointment in Delta

Political stakeholders continue to react to key appointments ahead of future electoral activities, and one of the latest endorsements has come from the Guild of Online Media Editors and Publishers of Nigeria (GOMEP-NG). The media body has congratulated former House of Representatives member, Rt. Hon. Ben Igbakpa, following his appointment as Delta State Director of the Door-to-Door Campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing the move as a recognition of his leadership, political experience and grassroots influence.

ABUJA — The Guild of Online Media Editors and Publishers of Nigeria (GOMEP-NG) has congratulated former member of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ben Igbakpa, on his appointment as Delta State Director of the Door-to-Door Campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The guild described the appointment as “a well-deserved recognition of Rt. Hon. Ben Igbakpa’s proven leadership capacity, political experience and unwavering commitment to grassroots mobilisation.”

In a statement jointly signed by the National President of GOMEP-NG, Comrade Akpovoke Otiti, and the National Secretary, Clinton Uba, the organisation said Igbakpa possesses the experience, organisational competence and political goodwill required to effectively coordinate the campaign across Delta State.

According to the statement, the former federal lawmaker has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to public service and grassroots engagement throughout his political career. It noted that these qualities would further strengthen the campaign structure and enhance voter mobilisation across the state.

Furthermore, GOMEP-NG expressed confidence that Igbakpa would leverage his extensive political network, leadership experience and deep understanding of grassroots politics to advance President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of future political engagements.

The guild also commended the leadership of the campaign organisation for what it described as “a merit-based appointment,” expressing optimism that Igbakpa would justify the confidence reposed in him through effective leadership and results-driven mobilisation.
