Hon. ThankGod Akoma, a stakeholder of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abia State Chapter has commended Engr. Sterling Chinwendu Uruakpa, a Chieftain of the party and a member of the governing Council, Bauchi Polytechnic, over the appreciation meeting organised for stakeholders of the party, in the state.

 

Hon. Akomas stated this in an exclusive interview with famousreporters.com, shortly after the a ‘Thank You Meeting’ of APC stakeholders, organized by Uruakpa, in appreciation for the massive support of the party to their members who contested in the recently concluded primary election.

 

“Hon. Uruakpa has proven himself a worthy son of the soil and for this gesture, I want to tell him that the party is proud of him and I pray for greater heights and appointments upon him.”

 

Also, Hon. Akoma applauded Chief Emenike for his fatherly role in unifying the party in the state after somewhat a protracted fracas, noting that, “it will only take a selfless and peace loving father to mediate in such a disastrous situation. Who would have ever known that APC in Abia State would come back together today? It is a thing joy and happiness”, he said.

The illustrious son of Ukwa West, who urged the party members to support the Governorship flag bearer, stressed on the need for them also to obtain their Permanent Voter’s Card, (PVC), insisting that it is their only access to a resounding victory in the forthcoming general election.

 

Speaking amidst optimism, Akoma reiterated that the party in the state was poised to take over power come 2023, as he called for their unflinching support.

 

Meanwhile, Famousreporters.com reports that Uruakpa had, yesterday, Sunday, held a ‘Thank You Meeting/Stakeholders Meeting of Ukwa West APC’ led by the LG Chairman, Hon. Uju Nwarie, at his country home, in Umuezeke Asa, Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State, during which he expressed gratitude to the party for their massive support.

 

 

In addition, he thanked the governorship candidate, High Chief Ikechi Emenike for considering it worth-his-while for an appointment as a member of the Governing Council, Bauchi Polytechnic, saying, “I do not take your immense fatherly love and care for granted”, as he urged members of the APC family, and Abians in general to solidarise with the party to ensure a victorious end, come 2023.

In their separate speeches, Hon. Nwogu Nwogu, a former Commissioner for Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, and Engr. Rogers Nwagbara applauded Uruakpa’s kind gestures.

 

Speaking, they said; “your decision to call us here today is laudable and we pray for more blessings of God upon you.”

 

The duo of Nwogu and Nwagbara used the medium to emphasize the need for members party to obtain their PVC’s, pointing out that it is the only proof of their loyalty and unalloyed support for the party and the candidates across the states and the nation.

 

 

Corroborating, House of Assembly candidate for Ukwa West Constituency, Hon.Izuchukwu Noble Ahuruonye motivated the party to work as a team, stressing that, “together we stand but divided we fall’. So, I’m calling on all of here to work as a team to ensure that we deliver all of our candidates across the state and beyond”.
