1987, Four Decades Now; Senator Orji Kalu’s Financial Address Still on Spotlight, National Concord Newspaper Reveals

The author of this piece as at 1987, was barely four years old. That was twelve (12) years into Nigeria democracy, in 1999, that saw the emergence of Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, as the Executive governor of Abia State.
Contemporarily, for those that may not have known the history of Distinguish Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, who in his early stages of life had struggled like most of us do today, the ill-fated bigotry of challenges on the path of a 27 years young Orji Kalu, were melted on him out of grave jealousy, envy and resentfulness.
Those born within the democracy of 1999, should be well guided by history, not to allow the deficits of karma to ruin them by absentia, in their ignorance and their abuses on a man who hustled like most Nigerian youths of today, to make a living, before Democracy, in 1999.
Let this be of public knowledge, believe it or leave it a-bay, it is with history, that there are traces of bitterness that started from those days, when supposed elders of older generations, before some of us were born, fashioned against the Most Distinguish Senator, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, for his outstanding rapid growth, at his age, and at that time, as history holds, they were not comfortable with the pace of the successfulness of Kalu, in his businesses.
For those that where not born then or those that may want to continue hiding behind ignorance than making proper verification, know it today that Senator Orji Uzor Kalu was Captain of Industries, before venturing into active politics. His wealth was created with financial addresses, he achieved a lot while he was younger, which many of us are not previewed to, rather, Nigerians are misled by character assassinators, those sects of older generations that tried to pull a young man, Orji Uzor Kalu, down by spoiling his name publicly.
Classified as a politician who could be said to be radical in his approaches to both businesses and political ideologies, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, can be said to have been very successful in his trajectories.
He was in his 27th year, figured out as a hidden promising young man with staunch capacities. Such stalwart uniqueness that drove him into knowing the diversity of Nigerians, in our Culture, language, tribes, religions beliefs and our wants. A country that was so united that created enabling and relatively secured environment for businesses to thrive.
As young he was, migrating from the Southeast to the Northern part of Nigeria, gave Orji Kalu an insight to what he can inter-change within the regions of the country that are economically needed and that are of market values. He transposed all his findings and ideas into buying and selling.
Business got good, which was expected! Going by the implementation of his business acumen, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu expanded into conglomerate. He definitely had date’s with successful businesses before joining politics. He had also been on the forefront of job creation, in his early stages of life, his contribution to ‘Father Land’ spanning from his Industries, Companies, including the Orji Uzor Kalu Foundation.
Through all mentioned, Orji Kalu have indigenously created thousands of jobs in various locations of the country, where they are established, touching lives without been in government. A high degree of societal and economic responsiveness that is very uncommon among Nigerians, essentially our politicians, many would prefer to invest outside Nigeria, promoting other nations economy, but Orji Uzor Kalu, is different and remain committed to humanity and country.
Becoming a governor at 39, the envy grew, it’s recalled from history how some stakeholders vowed that Orji Kalu can not be governor, not while they were still alive, but they forgot that ‘one with-majority can not be subdued,’ and he won in 1999 as the youngest governor and won again in 2003 governorship election, in Abia State.
More can be said about Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, his starling, unique and welcoming aural had often brought vigorous developments to Abia North. With the associations and diversities of Dist. Orji Kalu, within this period he is serving as the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, he can best be described as a purposeful Senator, who brings home the expectations of those that have mandated him to represent, at the hallowed Chamber of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
