YULETIDE: Ikwuano Mayor, Ossy Nwaka pens down passionate Christmas messages to Ndi Ikwuano
… As he distributes bags of rice

In his bid to ensure that no one stands aloof in the extant celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, otherwise known as Christmas by Christians, Mayor Osinachi Nwaka, the Mayor of Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State has distributed over 150 bags of rice to the people of his Council.

Addressing the people at his home in Ndoro, Monday, December 25, the people oriented leader noted that every family across the Council ought to have a feel of the celebration, adding that Christmas comes with the spirit of giving.

He used the medium to assure that the year 2024 would bring to the people and indeed all Abians good tidings, saying that the Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR is in a rush to improve their living standards.

Meanwhile , in his season’s greetings to the people of Ikwuano, Nwaka pointed out that Christians all over the world were in the season of joy in celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world, as he called for the existence of love and peace among all and sundry.

The message read in part:
“We’re in a season of joy celebration being the birth of Jesus Christ. And I’m using this opportunity to extend my heartfelt, warm greetings to all Ikwuano sons and daughters at home and in diaspora, to enjoy this Christmas peacefully and joyfully.

“May God bless you all and your entire household and I’m wishing you the very best of the Christmas as we prepare to face the year 2024.”
