YULETIDE: ECK Foundation Distributes Palliative To Widows in Bende

In his determination and resolve to continue to touch the lives of the people in positive ways, the President of ECK Foundation, Chief Dr Emeka Kalu, has provided food items, cash and other items as palliative to widows, vulnerable persons and the aged in Bende communities as a means to cushion the biting effect of economy downturn being faced by Nigerians for a while.

Recall that the US-Based Engineer, politician and grassroots Politician had earlier created a veritable platform to discover Youths for sponsorship through a football tournament among communities of Bende Local Government with a price tag of N1,000,000.00 (one million Naira), as a means to keep the young ones busy and away from crime by getting them focused on a price throughout this period.

Chief Kalu on the other hand has provided tuition fees for indigent students to aide their studies through ECK Foundation scholarship scheme. This gestures and more has earned him recognition of title “Okpata Ozuora 1 Na Nibo”, a CHIEFTANCY TITLE to be conferred on him on 26th December, 2023 in Anambra State.

The over 80 + beneficiaries of the food items, including over 80 10.3kg bags of rice and cash token of N5000 each, expressed gratitude to God for using the ECK Foundation and it’s President to make their yuletide season worthwhile.

in their words after receiving the gift, Mrs Nwakaego Sunday described it as a pleasant surprise and thanked the sponsor, Chief Dr. Emeka Kalu to do more, while praying to God to continue to guide and protect him in all his endeavors and his blessings will further out smiles on the faces of the widow’s.

On her part, Mrs Ngozi Godwin who represented her aged mother to receive the gift said it was one of its kind experience for the widow’s and prayed for more blessings upon Chief Dr Kalu, thank God for using him to put smiles on the faces of the women and vulnerable ones in the community.

One of the highlights of the event was endless prayers, dances and thanksgiving from the clearly excited mothers who blessed the sponsor and extoled the Organizers for carrying out open and transparent exercise to the glory of God.
