All times stated are UK

  1. Post update

    Union Berlin 1-1 Mainz

Union Berlin are level and we’ll let them off that errant apostrophe just this once.

  2. Post update

    Fortuna Dusseldorf 0-0 Schalke

Dusseldorf play a corner short and Erik Thommy shifts the ball well on to his right foot and sends in a low shot which Markus Schubert just about claws away. Not the most convincing from the Schalke keeper, again.

  3. Post update

    Fortuna Dusseldorf 0-0 Schalke

Rabbi Mutondo puts on the afterburners to take Schalke clear on the break, he has a man either side and goes the right way, but it’s just about cut out. Better.

  4. RED CARD – Sebastiaan Bornauw

    Hoffenheim 1-0 Cologne

An early bath for Cologne’s Seb Bornauw. Not an ideal start to their night’s work is it?

  5. Post update

    Fortuna Dusseldorf 0-0 Schalke

Well defended, but also nearly a brilliant own goal from Everton loanee Jonjoe Kenny, bulleting a header a yard over his own crossbar under heavy pressure.

  6. Ridle me this

    Union Berlin 0-1 Mainz

Ridle Baku ends a run of 40 Bundesliga appearances without a goal, after he had netted in both of his first two BL matches.

  7. GREAT SAVE!

    Fortuna Dusseldorf 0-0 Schalke

Big chance for Schalke! It breaks kindly for Daniel Caligiuri on the edge of the area, he shows a calm head to wait for the ball to drop, picks his spot – only to see Florian Kastenmeier make a big one-handed save.

    Won’t go in for Wagner.

  8. Post update

    Fortuna Dusseldorf 0-0 Schalke

Schalke have had 22% possession, which is even worse because all they seem to really do under David Wagner is keep the ball.

  9. Post update

Those goals would push Mainz above Eintracht Frankfurt and Hoffenheim up to within three points of a Europa League place.

  10. Latest

And we have had some early goals! Mainz and Hoffenheim lead through Bote Baku and Christoph Baumgartner respectively.

    Union Berlin 0-1 Mainz

    Augsburg 0-0 Paderborn

    Fortuna Dusseldorf 0-0 Schalke

    Hoffenheim 1-0 Cologne

  11. Post update

    Fortuna Dusseldorf 0-0 Schalke

Shot on target for Dusseldorf but there’s not enough behind Kenan Karaman’s strike. Barely reached.

  12. Post update

    Fortuna Dusseldorf 0-0 Schalke

A win would put Fortuna within a point of Mainz above them – though Mainz are in action as well. The relegation picture could be much changed by close of play.

  13. Slow starters

    Fortuna Dusseldorf 0-0 Schalke

Schalke have not scored in the opening 15 minutes of a Bundesliga match since Daniel Caligiuri netted in the eighth minute of a 2-1 home win against Wolfsburg on 20 January 2019.

They have not netted in the first 15 minutes of a BL away fixture since Steven Skrzybski scored in the 10th minute of a 3-1 victory at Stuttgart on 22 December 2018.

    Twenty-Eighteen!

  14. KICK-OFF

    Fortuna Dusseldorf 0-0 Schalke

We’re under way! Fortuna have drawn the last four in a row. What price a rare home win here?

  15. Mutondo starts again

Fortuna Dusseldorf v Schalke (19:30 BST)

And a reminder of the team news from the game I’ll be watching:

Relegation-threatened Dusseldorf make five changes from the team which choked away a two-goal lead late on in Cologne.

Former Brighton man Markus Suttner and ex-Burnley striker Rouwen Hennings both come in.

In dismal form, Schalke make just two changes as Ozan Kabak and Guido Burgstaller start. As does Wales winger Rabbi Mutondo.

  16. Coming up

No time for a brew here –

Union Berlin v Mainz (19:30 BST)

    Augsburg v Paderborn (19:30 BST)

Fortuna Dusseldorf v Schalke (19:30 BST)

    Hoffenheim v Cologne (19:30 BST)

  17. FULL-TIME

    RB Leipzig 2-2 Hertha Berlin

It is another draw for the hosts, who stay in third place. They’ll probably take this one though as Hertha were very good and they were down to 10 for so long.

  18. Post update

    RB Leipzig 2-2 Hertha Berlin

Another draw for RBL? They’ve actually lost the fewest games in the division – just three.

  19. Post update

    RB Leipzig 2-2 Hertha Berlin

A draw is the least Hertha deserve in this one, can they go on and nick a win? They have the extra man, remember. Five minutes left.

  20. goal

GOAL – RB Leipzig 2-2 Hertha Berlin

    Krzysztof Piatek (Pen 82 mins)

Hertha are level and they deserve it. Big-money signing Krzysztof Piatek has a zany run up but keeps his cool and slams it in.
