The Former Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Abia State, Chief Charles Ogbonnaya, Evule Ogu Ibeku has lampooned Chief Don Ubani over his recent call for the immediate resignation of the Speaker, describing it as blatant blackmail.Chief Ognonnaya in his remarks, decried the subsistent controversy in the state, hence the call by some elements for the Speaker’s urgent resignation following his visit to the Former Governor of Abia State, His Excellency Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.Recall that Engr. Chinedum  Enyinnaya Orji had in company with Chief Charles Ogbonnaya,  visited the former Governor who is currently serving as the Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate, as he recently regained freedom from jail.images 327003893298251496474According to a rejoinder made available to FamousReporters, Chief Ogbonnaya Who accompanied the speaker on the visit to Sen. Kalu’s house explained that the Speaker in his remarks had enjoined OUK to take up his existing position as the father of “Abia modern politics.”
Hear him: “The Speakers Statement was on OUK to assume his position as the father of Abia modern politics, which meaning is far deeper than the present antagonism given to it…” by Don Ubani and Co.”I find it difficult to believe that people have refused to grow in knowledge but choose to live a life of sycophants. It is true that a blackmailer can not change irrespective of his position in the society. Let me make it clear to my frien, Don Unani Okwubunka that the office of the Deputy Chief of Staff which I served from 2008-2015 is an exalted office given to loyal, respectful and and hardworking Abians and not an office for blackmailers.

“No wonder you blackmailed your way to that position when you started blackmailing the Governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu on how he had no money and how you gave him money for transportation during his campaign”, he recalled.

Furthermore, he said: ” Do you know the relationship that exists between the speaker and the governor? Do you know whether prior to that visit, if the Speaker alerted the Governor? How come you concluded that the Speaker does not have respect for the Governor? Don, please, huru-Ehuru”, he advised.
