UN Ambassador lauds Audu on appointment as Minister

A United Nations Ambassador, H.E Dr (Mrs) Princess Enape Victoria Ayishetu, PhD, has congratulated the Minister of Steel Development, Hon Prince Abubakar Audu, on his appointment as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Ayishetu, in a statement in Abuja, admitted that Audus’s discipline, knowledge, skills, hard work, intelligence had earned him the appointment.

She, therefore, prayed God to surround him with people that will assist him achieve the mandate of his office for the benefit and growth of the country.

The statement reads, “Despite our best intentions , we never know exactly where our paths will take us. Yours has taken you to this new position as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which is simply sensational. You are prepared, ready and more than qualified for it, and we know that you will rise to the occasion by the grace of the Almighty God.

“Congratulations to you my Prince, on your well deserved new appointment as the Minister of STEEL DEVELOPMENT, a new ministry for that matter. It wouldn’t have been another person at this sensitive time in our state Kogi. It is such an incredible opportunity to serve your nation, and we can’t think of anyone else better suitable for this position than you.

“We are not surprised that someone as exceptional as you has been appointed as a Honorable Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who is of our respectable and exceptional OFU LGA, because you are a rare asset worthy of this appointment. Therefore, your ascension is an inspiration to all and especially the youths who wish to grow.

“Your discipline, knowledge, skills, hard work, intelligence and indeed your essence, have garnered you this appointment .This is the appointment given to the most deserving person which you are. Therefore, it is a well deserved reward for many years of sacrifices directly and indirectly.

“This appointment is a challenging one because you happen to be the first Minister for STEEL Development, but I am optimistic that the end shall justify the means. You are capable of this position and I know that you shall succeed.

May the Almighty God surround you with good, credible, responsible, faithful, knowledgeable and qualified personnel that will assist you to realize the core mandates of your office in no distance time, for the benefit and growth of our country at large. I wish more wisdom for this new office.”
