Terrorists Release Disturbing Photo of Slain Kaduna Priest’s Wife and Daughter Held at Gunpoint

“A new photo released by terrorists shows the wife and daughter of slain Kaduna Anglican priest Ven. Edwin Achi being held at gunpoint as kidnappers escalate pressure on the family amid chaotic ransom demands.”

Terrorists have released a disturbing photograph showing the abducted wife and daughter of the murdered Kaduna Anglican priest, Ven. Edwin Achi, being held at gunpoint.

Ven. Achi, his wife Sarah, and their daughter were abducted from their residence in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State on October 28, 2025.

The abductors reportedly demanded a ransom of ₦200 million, threatening to kill all three victims if the family failed to meet their demands. Despite the ultimatum, the terrorists killed the priest and later uploaded a photograph of him and his wife on his personal Facebook page.

A family member, identified as Avril, confirmed the latest development in a post on X while speaking with journalist Rufai Oseni.

“Please keep pushing the news that Ven. Edwin Achi’s wife, Sarah Achi, is still in captivity. Their captors recently uploaded a picture of her and the daughter with a gun pointed at them. Their demands are incoherent at this point,” he wrote.

Sharing the distressing image on Wednesday, Avril lamented: “This is not a country.”
