Lawma Marks 3rd Anniversary Of Lagos Recycle Initiative …stresses use of PAKAM app Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has celebrated the 3rd anniversary of the Lagos Recycle Initiative, launched three years ago, to introduce waste sorting at source for recycling purposes, to tackle the challenge of plastic pollution, as well as create jobs for teeming residents. The event, organised by Food & Beverage Recycling Alliance and Lagos Recyclers Association, in conjunction with LAWMA, took place at the agency’s Olusosun Resource Centre, Ojota, with various sectoral stakeholders in attendance.
