Amotekun security Not fewer than 100 cows belonging to the Fulani herdsmen have been impounded by the men of the Ondo State Security Agency otherwise known as Operation Amotekun. Reportedly, the action was in strict adherence to the directives of Ondo State government which restricts movements of unregistered herdsmen on streets and forests of the state.   Over 37 herdsmen with 5,000 cattle were on Thursday evicted from forest reserves by the Ondo State Government. The state’s security network, also called Amotekun Corps, which effected the ejection, said the herders failed to comply with the directive of the state government to register before they could be allowed to operate in the area.
