The Abia State Ministry of Homeland Security office at Factory road, Umuahia has been reportedly robbed in the early hours of Monday.
According to an eyewitness report, the robbery was carried out between 10am and 11am.
The Director of Finance was said to have returned from the bank with a huge amount of money and possibly trailed from the bank.
The eyewitness words: “They came with a small vehicle. We usually have Bakasi men guarding the premises until they were recently changed to be this newly recruited officer Homeland Security who are not armed”.
Famousreporters.com also gathered that before the end of the day, the management of the Ministry of the Abia state Homeland Security deployed two Bakasi security men to the ministry’s building.
