Nigerian Government Cracks Down On Protest Sponsors

Nigerian Government Cracks Down On Protest Sponsors By Elizabeth Austin, Abuja. In a move to quell the ongoing #Endbadgovernance protests, the Nigerian government has placed sponsors of the movement on a watchlist and at the same time, blocked their bank accounts. The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Immigration Services (NIS), Kemi Nandap, revealed that the sponsors, mostly based abroad, have been identified and are being closely monitored.
