Soludo urges Anambra Assembly to approve N100bn loan

 

 

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Soludo has solicited from the State House of Assembly to give approval to his proposed N100b loan, to enable him rehabilitate dilapidated state’s infrastructure.

 

 

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra state has written the state House of Assembly seeking approval for N100 billion loan.

 

 

 

In the letter dated July 5, 2022, Soludo said the loan facility will be for the construction and rebuilding of some major infrastructure in the state.

 

 

 

Speaker of the house of assembly, Mr Uche Okafor who read the Governor’s letter during plenary on Friday July 15, said;

 

 

 

”Mr Governor, is seeking the approval to secure a N100bn Global Limit Multiple Term Loan Facility for the construction and refurbishment of key infrastructure in the state.”

The letter was then referred to the House Committee on Public Accounts for consideration and they are expected to revert to the whole house on July 21.
