Socour For Nigerian Youth As Yotsi Launches Fund – Yes To Finance Poverty Eradication

–Gifts One Million Naira Cash to Empower Graduate Who Turns Capenter.

In a bid to Combat youth unemployment and restiveness in Nigeria, the Youth off the Street Initiative  YOTSI, has Officially unveiled the FUND-YES a Youth based Entrepreneurship Scheme to finance Poverty Eradication. thenigerianpost online has learnt.

The Official unveiling Ceremony was performed at the National Merit Award House, Maitama Abuja, Teusday August 8,2023 and attracted the presence of Successful Entrepreneur,youth leaders,top Government functionaries from both the federal and state level and other interested patners and Sponsors, both locally and internationally.

Speaking at the Ceremony, the Convener, Youth off the Street Initiative,(YOTSI) Who also doubles as the CEO of the FUND-YES, Comrade Iyere Kennedy Said the Scheme is aimed at financing Poverty Eradication through joint Enterprise financing grant-making, equity Crowdfunding and impact investment Program.

Continuing,Comrade Iyere Stressed that, the Youth off the Street Initiative and the Fund-Yes Scheme was birthed in response to the Current economic hardship in the Country, Youth hopelessness, unemployment and restiveness, Social economic and political Youth exclusion, and general Youth dissolusioment that characterised the polity, and the dire need to urgently salvage the urgly Situation.

According to him, the would be beneficiaries of the Scheme, must meet up the requirements, like having a Skill and wants to grow the Skill locally and internationally, as the Scheme was tageted to be transnational, he promised.

To further demonstrates the realiability of the Scheme, and also bustress his Sincerity, Comrade Kennedy Iyere transferred a million Naira Cash to Ndandor Limaro Thomas, a female graduate of Mass Communication from the University of Jos,who acquired Skills in Carpentry and Currently practices as the Source of her livelihood, Who had no Connections to the organization and most importantly,to the Convener of initiative and Scheme.

The Convener Called on the teaming unemployed youth and the skillful once to key into the initiative to benefit from the gains attached to enable them become self-reliant and employers of labour.

Reacting to the unexpected Kind gestures accorded her by the YOTSI and the FUND-YES,She Commended the Organization for the empowerment and pledged to judiciously put the fund to use to enable her expand her bussiness and acquire more Skills in Carpentry.
