Sh0cking! DSS discloses why Kanu could not appear in court today

The Department of State Services, DSS said it could not produce the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu before the court today because it had “logistics difficulties”.

Kanu’s Lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor (Esq.), told Famous Reporters this evening that Justice Binta Nyako the presiding Judge today, queried the reason Kanu was not brought to court for his trial slated for today, July 26.

According to him, Justice Binta Nyako orders DSS when to grant Kanu’s Lawyers access to him twice in a week, hence Mondays and Thursdays.

According to the Lawyer, “the DSS didn’t bring Kanu to Court. They gave no valid reason for Kanu notq As being in Court, except to say it lies in their discretion and that they had “logistics difficulties.

“But the Judge disagreed and told them that “trial can never commence without defendant being present”. She then ordered them produce him court next date.

“The Judge also ordered them to grant Kanu’s Lawyers access to him twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays.

“The matter was adjourned to October 21. But considering the adverse impact of the Court vacation, the Judge indicated that should any issue concerning the case arise during the vacation, we should call the attention of her staff to it so that she can get the permission of the Chief Judge for the vacation judge to grant us a hearing.

“Finally, contrary to expectations, they didn’t bring any new Charges”, he concluded.
