See face of IMSU lecturer who slapped sick, pregnant student in class, as he comes under fire (Photos+ Video)

A lecturer at Imo State University (IMSU) identified as Dr. Desmond Izunwanne has been seen slapping and harassing a student in a lecture hall before fellow students.

According to the description added to the video, the lecturer was scolding the girl for coming to the class in mufti, since the department has a uniform.

The girl had responded calmly that she was just returning from the hospital and had to come directly to the school, but this did not calm the lecturer.

Izunwanne slapped her after her response, as he grumbled that ‘everyone is making an excuse of coming from the hospital.’ He slapped her again because, according to him, she “decided to come like that.” He was then heard telling the student to kneel down.

The video has caused much negative reaction on Twitter. One commentator identified the Izunwanne as his Human Physiology lecturer at Gregory University Uturu. He described him as a “wicked and mean lecturer.”

It was alleged that the incident was not the lecturer’s first time of assaulting students, bragging that the school authorities cannot question him.

Concerned Nigerians have since flooded his Facebook page, calling him out and urging the school management to deal with the situation.
