S’East Not In Need Of Speakership… Ohanaeze Youth Blasts Atiku

The Ohanaeze Youth Council has revolted Atiku’s distribution of power and allocation of Speakership to the South East region, saying SouthEast does not need any of such position.

Ohanaeze youth insisted that, according the extant rotatory system of governance, presidency is coming to the southern region.

It could be recalled that former Vice president Atiku Abubakar who is currently the 2023 Presidential Candidate of PDP had recommended the zoning of strategic governance and government positions across different geopolitical zones of the country.

According to Atiku, the Vice President slot is ceded to the South South with the governor of Delta State in mind, Senate President to South West and Speaker of the House of Representatives to South East Nigeria.

Reacting to the viral report, Ohanaeze Youth, throw her national President, Comrd. Igboayaka O
Igboayaka who described Labour Party as a party for the masses, as he urged PDP reserve “your Speakership position for some region, noting that it’s not feasible for us in the Southeast.”

Hear him: “Presidency is coming to South-East and from the dollarised PDP primary election, PDP and APC
cannot offer Nigerians sound leadership; it’s a very corrupt Political party, devoid of Justice and Equity. PDP should start preparing their exit from Nigeria because SouthEast and Nigeria at large will ensure that they don’t come to power.

However, he expressed his unequivocal believe in the labour party to restore the dignity and economy of the nation.

“APC and PDP are parties devoid of Justice and Equity and as such have been rejected by us.
force party that has the capacity to liberate them from the protracted inhumanity and injustice.

Continuing, he said: “Labour Party is a party for the masses. Therefore, PDP should reserve their Speakership position for some region” he maintained, noting that “it’s not feasible for us in the Southeast.

“No PDP candidate will win House of Representatives in the region let alone becoming a Speaker. So, they should prepare to go because Nigeria cannot anymore contend with this attitude of one step forward and two steps backwards according to Amino Kano”.
