Ikwuano, Abia State’s foremost royal father, Eze Onyekwere P. J. Anyaegbu, Dike Oha II of Umudike Ancient Kingdom in Ikwuano LGA of Abia State has applauded former member of House of Representatives, Rep Sam Onuigbo and businessman-philantrophist, Engineer Edwin Ikechukwu Anyadighibe for their transformational leadership styles which have made significant impact on their home communities.

HRH Eze Anyaegbu while speaking at the August meeting of Umudike Development Union (Women’s Wing) 2025 August Meeting noted that the duo of Rep Onuigbo and Engr Anyadighibe had consistently demonstrated the ‘Charity Begins at Home’ dictum in their leadership objectives and lifestyles

Eze Anyaegbu described the duo of Onuigbo and Anyadighibe as transformational leaders worthy of emulation. He prayed for divine promotion, protection and favours for them and urged other privileged elites to emulate them in giving back to their immediate communities.

It will be recalled that the National Universities Commission (NUC) recently approved the re-establishment of five previously delisted management science courses at MOUAU. The approved courses include BSc. Accounting, BSc. Marketing, BSc. Banking and Finance, BSc. Business Administration, and BSc. Economics.

The reintroduction of these courses marks a significant achievement for MOUAU, following the Federal Government’s 2016 directive that led to their initial removal. The government had ordered universities to discontinue programs that were not part of their original academic mandate. However, Onuigbo continuously advocated for their reinstatement, arguing that management science courses play a crucial role in equipping agricultural stakeholders with essential business and financial skills.
