Rep. Sam Onuigbo Condoles With Cokey’s Family

The atmosphere in Ikwuano Local Government Area was melancholy, as they laid to rest their son, Captain Chibueze Justus Cokey, brother to the Deputy Chairman of Ikwuano Local Government Area, Hon. Cokey Nwachukwu, whose candle burnt out before his legend.

Reacting to this loss, Rep. Sam Onuigbo, the member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency, who was ably represented by his Chief Liaison Officer, Evang. Abraham Osondu, likened Captain Cokey’s lifetime to that of a shooting star which burned brightest while it shined, albeit for a short span. He described this loss as ominously painful, stating that he will be sorely missed by his family who loved him; his friends who enjoyed his company, the game he dedicated his life to, and the entire Ikwuano, his mother land whom he loved and gave his all.

Rep. Onuigbo comforted his family, charging them to draw strength from the fact that Captain Cokey is in a better place, and watching over them. He charged them to always remember him, tell his story, and to protect his legend, which still lives on.

Also, among Rep Sam Onuigbo’s condolence delegates were Chief (Mrs) Ego Nwanmuo and Mrs. Glory Ikeanya.
