Rep. onuigbo concludes consultation on Senatorial bid
Member representing Umuahia North/South Federal Constituency and Abia Central Senatorial aspirant under the All Progressives Congress(APC), Rep. Sam Onuigbo has, alongside his team completed their consultation tour across the six Local Government Areas (LGAs)of Abia Central Senatorial Zone.
The exercise was wrapped up on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, as were received by members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) family.
It could be recalled that Rep. Onuigbo in collaboration with his team, had since Friday, May 19 embarked on the tour, during which he moved from Ikwuano Local Government Area and subsequently, to Umuahia North/South and Umuneato (Isialangwa North/South and Osisioma Ngwa) Local Government Areas of the senatorial zone.
Delighted with the incumbent Lawmaker for his enviable feats as achieved so far, the people of Ikwuano had organized a grand reception for Rep. Sam Onuigbo and his entourage.
Speaking unanimously, they echoed: “that which is worn on the wrist needs no mirror to be seen”, they said, as they declared their unreserved love for him.
“We’re proud to have a worthy son in Rep. Onuigbo, whose work across the federal constituency, him represention is glaring. Onuigbo’s achievements in the local government, which includes the ongoing reconstruction of the Umuahia/Ikwuano/Ikot-Ekpene Federal Road, pioneering the reinstatement of the delisted management courses at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, and so many capital and human development projects spread across the constituency.

Onuigbo’s representation at the National Assembly.
Meanwhile, the reception at Umunneato (Isiala Ngwa North/South and Osisioma Ngwa) could be described as affectionate expressed hope that he would replicate his good works in the Umunneato part of Abia Central Senatorial Zone come 2023.
Responding, Onuigbo thanked his hosts for their love and support, which according to him, had prompted the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia to return him to the National Assembly a

He charged the people to continue in their quest for credible leaders, adding, “who have the interest of the people at heart”
He, however, used the medium to warn them about the dangers of electing seasonal politicians, “who only come around when it is election season, have nothing to offer, and seek power for their selfish reasons.
Continuing, he reminded them that “the office of the citizen is the most powerful office, and I’m charging you to leverage on this power with wisdom, for your own benefit and that of future generations.
