PDP Primary: My mission to give Abia new direction, says Opah, as he scales through screening

A foremost Entrepreneur and the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Governorship aspirant in Abia State, Chief Eric Opah has commended the Screening Committee for being the show of transparency in the just concluded screening exercise, as organised by the party.

The renowned philanthropist foremost aspirant, who is currently bracing up for the forthcoming Governorship primary of the party, could not contain his joy, as he scaled through the said screening, today, Thursday 5, at the National Secretariat of the PDP, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.

Interacting with newsmen after the screening on Thursday, Chief Opah who is well known for his philanthropy across the board, said his mission is to give Abia a new direction, adding that he can chart a new course for Abia and her people.He commended the screening committee for leaving no stone unturned during the exercise, stressing democracy has indeed come to stay in Nigeria.He noted that Abia craves massive infrastructural development, emphasizing that, if voted as the party’s flag bearer, and he emerges as the Governor of the State, Abia will join the league of States whose infrastructure is top-notch.

Eric Opah who hails from Mbubo-Nsulu in Isiala Ngwa North, LGA of Abia State, charged the delegates to vote accordingly come Saturday, stressing that the unity, progress and future of the party will be relying heavily on them ensuing from the decision they make on Saturday, February 5th, 2023 at the Umuahia Township Stadium, venue of the Governorship Primary.
