Orji Uzor Kalu Declaration For Senate President Is For ndigbo, national interest, Let’s No Needs For Multiple Candidates

As the race for the Senate president heats up and the speculation of zoning the coveted position to the southeast political zone reached the top roof, one name is quick to come to mind, Sen.Dr. Orji Uzor kalu a seasoned political parasol, a formidable force and outstanding senator from the southeast region has indicted interest for the plump job, reports has it that the mantra, it is my turn was the highlights of yesterday press conference, as he has graciously offered himself for greater responsibility and service.

On that note, political enthusiasts, social thinkers and opinion moulders decides to take a cosy look at the man in the eye of the storm ,whose speech resonated like a whirlwind, it is my turn to be the next senate president, this statement that was credited to Sen.Dr.Orji Uzor kalu ambition were received with thunderous ovations, cheers and applause from different quarters, a former Governor of Abia state, a former house of rep member and currently a serving senator at the national assembly, OUK is said to be eminently qualified to step into the big shoe that will be vacant as the 9th Senate comes to a halt. .

OUK as he is fondly called, is one of the current principal officers of the 9th Senate, a ranking senator, chief whip, tested senator, trusted senator and senator-elect back to back, that is consistency to his credit, it is the personality of Orji uzo kalu credibility, that the leadership of National Assembly needs now to bring experience to bear and salvage this country.

Senator Orji Uzor kalu is a proven character in the executive and legislative arms of government with the ability and capacity to manage men and materials to achieve success.

Today, the political perspective of the southeast and southsouth regardless of Omo Agege, who is ranking and not returning to the Senate, Orji Uzor Kalu stand tall as the most senior in rank to fill the void in the 10th Senate.

This is a clarion call to the leaders of Ndigbo, especially the political class to grab this opportunity and stand solid rock behind Orji Uzor kalu to become the next senate president in the spirit of nation building, to enable him join hands with other leaders of the region to consolidate the party and attract dividend of democracy to the zone.

In view of the above narrative, this is a challenged to all Igbo political class to now speak with one voice in the actualization of this great project, Orji Uzor Kalu is the most qualified candidate from the southeast that can easily attract support from other zones, the need for Ndigbo to put all their eggs in one basket should be with this project to build a consensus candidate.
Therefore, I urged any Igbo man or woman nursing the ambition or wanting to jump into the arena as albatross to desist forthwith because it is the ill-wind that blows nobody any good or be classified as a saboteur and enemy of the Igbo people.

Senate president is not a testing ground for political caricatures or absentee senators that are legislative rusty, sentiments and mundane issues should not come to play as consideration on a position that requires a technically sound Senate president to lead.

Orji Uzo Kalu is already a consensus candidate from the southeast conceded by other zones, Ndigbo should speak with one voice, one vote and one man.

Who else, if not Orji Uzor kalu. ☝????
