The leadership of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, Youth Wing , Abia State Chapter has lauded the various landmark feats of the member, House of Representatives, Arochukwu/ Ohafia federal constituency, Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole since assumption of office.
The leadership of the Sociocultural Organisation, led by Cmrd. Okey Paul, during a commiseration visit to the country home of the Federal Lawmaker, at Ozu Abam, in Arochukwu LGA of Abia state, yesterday May 27, 2020 expressed regrets over the death of Chief Emmanuel Nkole, which occurred on December 24, 2019, aged 79.
Comr. Okey in his condolence message on behalf of OHANEZE NDI-IGBO YOUTH WING, Abia state chapter amidst a broken heart lamented that Late Chief Nkole’s death was a collective loss to the entire Abam Onyerubi community, Abia State and the Nation in general.
He recalled the selfless service of the deceased Octogenarian at the Central Bank of Nigeria where late Nkole had reportedly served passionately to the rank of a Senior Management Staff as a result of his dedication to duty, hardwork and selflessness.
He added that Late Nkole’s meritorious service as a banker, community leader, and academia would remain memorable to those he left behind, as he prayed to God to accept the soul of the departed and comfort the Nkole’s family.
Speaking further, Comr. Okey applauded the excellent performance of the ebullient political leader over the years, stressing, “since your inception in office as a federal lawmaker, you have changed the narratives and attracted laudable projects for the federal constituency ranging from securing employment to the constituents, attraction of roads, water, houses for the indigents.
“And particularly for towing the path of the Governor by providing palliatives to the good people of Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency and beyond to cushion the effects of the lockdown as part of the measures by the Government to control the spread of the covid-19 pandemic.”
Hear him: “Hon. Nkole is cheerful in giving and he runs an open door policy and his midas touch to his constituents and others has distinguished him as an outstanding political leader who is grassrooted and understands the needs of his people”, he commended.
He urged the erudite and pragmatic PEOPLE’S GENERAL to continue in his discharge of dividends of democracy while assuring him of the supports of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Youth Wing.
Also speaking, the Publicity Secretary of the sociocultural organization and the youth wing of the apex OHAENEZE NDI IGBO, Comr. Chika Adiele reminisced on their first interface with Hon. Uko Nkole also known as MR. PROJECT, during the grand civic reception organised in honour of the Governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu by the people of Abam Onyerubi held on August 18, 2018.
Cmrd. Adiele recalled the eulogies sang by the mammoth crowd during the August, 2018 epoch making event as the people chanted songs of return of office for the impeccable Lawmaker.
“It was the donation of E GO GO AGAIN SHUTTLE BUSES by Hon. Nkole to his constituents, among other projects that endeared us to you, and has formed the basis of our appreciation visit”, he said, as he appraised his efforts towards complementing the developmental strides of the IKENGA ABAM, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, the Governor of Abia State.
” We are satisfied with your outstanding leadership and we rate you the best House of Representatives member in Abia State, hence our reason to identify with you to encourage you to continue in your good deeds to the people of Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency and Abians at large”, he added.
MR. PROJECT as fondly called in his response, expressed gratitude to the Group for their show of love, thereby commiserating with him and his family at their period of mourning.
While promising to leave no stone unturned in attracting meaningful projects for his constituency, Rt. Hon. Nkole also reiterated his preparedness to continue in his synergy with the Okezie Ikpeazu PDP led administration in Abia State saying that the Governor has created an enabling environment that has bring Abia to the path of development in all sectors of the economy.
