News break: Petition Tribunal Dismisses Case Against Hon Obi Aguocha Of Labour Party

 

 

The National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal for Abia State now sitting at Abuja has dismissed the petition: EPT/AB/HR/01/2023 of, Hon. Paul O. Meregini and Action Democratic Party (ADP) against the election of the member elected to represent Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Obinna Aguocha.

 

The petition alleged that Action Democratic Party (ADP) logo was excluded on the House of Representatives election ballot paper.

 

The Tribunal held that the petition was lacking in merit and therefore dismissed same.

Counsel to Hon. (Chief) Obinna Aguocha, Ume Kalu (SAN) and Anaga Kalu (Esq) thanked the tribunal for a well considered judgement.
