There was pandemonium in Shagamu in the early hours of yesterday, as an 18-year-old girl murdered her man friend after s*x over the sum of #2000 (two thousand naira).
This tragedy took place shortly after the major crisis that hit the country, hence the killing by a SARS officer, an incident which has raised dust among Nigerians.
In her confession, the 18-years-old regretted her act, explaining that it was an accidental occurrence.
Hear her confession:
“I’m an 18year old girl and killing of my boyfriend was an accident. I have been in his house for good two days, having good time with him and he have been sleeping with me every blessed day. ..On this faithful morning, after we had some couple round of s*x , he went to the bathroom to take a shower, and I was on the bed still waiting for him to come out and give me money because i told him I will love to go that morning …when he came out he started shouting and accusing me of stealing his #2000 (two thousands naira), I told him I’m innocent and I have not seen any money, because I’m just waiting for him to give me money to go due to our agreement, he started hitting me, searching all my body including my breast ..he later hook my neck and wanted to strangle me on the bed, I could not breath but he keeps hitting me, he now went to the kitchen to bring a knife and threaten to stab me , he came close to me and I struggle with in the room and mistakenly the knife stab him on his neck which resulted to his death.
Now, the corpse of the diseased is already preserved in the motuary while investigation continues.
The state police public relation officer confirmed the incidence and stated that inestigations were on to unravel the matter.
