… As JAMB PRO, Febian Reacts

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra has swiftly intervened in the case of Mmesoma Joy Ejikeme, a young student who recently attempted suicide.

Mmesoma’s desperate act came just hours after a video of her contemplating suicide went viral on social media platforms, prompting an outpouring of concern from the public.

Governor Soludo took immediate action upon learning about the distressing situation. In a letter addressed to the principal of Anglican Girls Secondary School Nnewi, where Mmesoma is enrolled, he ordered that she be handed over to the state guidance counselor and a professor of clinical psychology for necessary psychological evaluation and support.

The governor emphasized the urgency of the matter, insisting that Mmesoma’s counseling and therapy sessions commence without delay.

The decision was based on one of the recommendations put forth by a committee established by the Anambra State Government to investigate the incident.

” The directive is in line with one of the recommendations of the Committee set up by the Anambra State Government to investigate the matter, following the parading of the fake results which elicited interests and generated controversy and misgivings among the general public” Governor Soludo said.

The scandal surrounding Mmesoma’s actions has raised serious questions nationwide. Many are left wondering how she managed to manipulate the JAMB system and whether she had assistance in doing so. The precise method employed to doctor the results remains a mystery.
