According to reports, the couple had checked into Prime Garden Hotel located along Census Extension in Badagry while attending festivities and meeting with family friends and business associates.
Sources disclosed that the couple spent time with friends at the hotel lobby, where they reportedly shared a light meal and consumed non-alcoholic drinks before Mrs. Ikweoku later excused herself and returned to their hotel room.
Concern reportedly began after nearly two hours passed without her returning or responding to repeated phone calls. Her husband was said to have gone upstairs to personally check on her, but he also failed to return.
