K.C Ugboaja Goes Home, Rep. Sam Onuigbo Mourns
… Says he Fought, Transformed his Community

The member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and Umuahia South Federal Constituency, Rep Sam Onuigbo has eulogised the former Executive Chairman of Ikwuano LGA of Abia State, Barr. K. C. Ugboaja, describing his death as a a huge loss not just for his family alone but also to the entire Ikwuano and State in general.

The Federal Legislator stated this when he paid his last respect to the icon and at his home in Ariam and to render support to the bereaved family.

Rep Onuigbo was received by Late Hon. Ugboajah’s wife, Mrs. Bourdlyn Ugboajah, at their country home at Ariam Elu Elu, Ariam Osigwe Autonomous community, Ikwuano Local Government Area.

Condoling with the family during his second condolence visit to the family, Rep Sam Onuigbo narrated that he had come a long way with late Barr Ugboajah before he passed on.

Reminiscing, Rep Onuigbo recounted his relationship with Barr Ugboajah way back in time when he was the Local Government chairman, stating that this relationship has stood the test of time, through the time he took ill and eventually passed on.

He mourned that Barr Ugboajah’s death was a huge loss not just for his family, but also for the entire Ariam/Usaka, Ikwuano and Abia State.

He described Late Barr Ugboajah as a strong man who fought for and transformed his community.

“I’ll continue to acknowledge him, even when he is not here, because he used the power given to him to make a positive change. When you are given power, you use it to impact positively on the wellbeing of the people around you, and not for your personal aggrandizement. This, Barr K.C did to great effect. On behalf of myself, my family and the great people of Ikwuano/Umuahia North and Umuahia South whom I represent at the National Assembly, I condole with you”, he said.

Responding, Mrs. Ugboajah described her family’s loss as a very painful one, praying that God would grant them the fortitude to bear their loss.

“I pray that God gives us the strength to go through this phase and continue to grant him rest wherever he is, and that he would continue to watch over us.”

She thanked Rep. Onuigbo for coming to support her family, praying that God blesses him fervently.
