Just In: Senator Orji Uzor’s Outstanding Budget Performance In Abia North.

Welcome to the Budget performance reviews on the projects carried out by the office of the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial district at the National Assembly, Abuja, His Excellency Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu (MON).

Evidence they say is the end of argument, this has become the testimonies of the good people of Abia North on the outstanding achievements of the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial district, Orji Uzor, under the budget for constituency project in Abia North Senatorial district.

This projects cut across road construction, processing plants, renovation of school blocks, Installation of boreholes, installation of motorized water boreholes, erosion site control and much more.
These projects covered the 5 LGAs and they are as follows;

Arochukwu LGA

OUK attracted the catalytic Garri processing plant which is in Ogbagwu village which processes garri, cassava flour for baking and starch for textile production. The garri processing plant will in addition produce odourless fufu(akpu) for mass distribution.

Other projects in Arochukwu includes provision of motorized boreholes in Arochukwu town, renovation of primary school blocks at Agbagwu, Ozu Abam, Ndi Awgu Abam primary school.

Road projects includes construction of 2 Km Akama road, Arochukwu road down to Atani Ihechiowa road.

Ohafia LGA

Dr. Orji Uzor’s performance Ohafia LGA includes;
Renovation of primary school blocks at Ugwuofia primary school at Akanu, Kpoke primary school Ebem, which HRH Ezie Ukoha Kalu Ukoha JP, Kpoke 1 of Ekelougo Even Ohafia and paramount ruler of Ebem ancient Kingdom, Ohafia testified and thanked him for bringing the dividends of democracy down to his home town. The ruler said the Okon people will not forget OUK in a hurry, if not for him the road would have been a mess, because it was the tarred roads that Orji Uzor constructed that are still in existence till date.

Further more, OUK attracted construction of 7 Km, 2 Km phase 1, for rural farmers, at Akanu Ugwu, with good drainage system and asphalt.
Construction of 2 Km Elele road Ohafia junction with good drainage system and asphalt.
Construction of Isiugwu Ohafia road, 5 Km, 2 Km phase 1, with asphalt and good drainage system.
Construction of Abia Ohafia road, 5 Km, 2 Km phase 1 with asphalt and good drainage system.
Construction of Umuobasi Amankalu in Bende LGA to Abiriba road in Ohafia LGA, 2 Km rehabilitation with good drainage system of Ohafia-Okon road.

Other projects includes provision of motorized boreholes at Amaekpu, Ama Nkalu and Federal Government College Ohafia. Drilling of motorized boreholes at Ndi Agbo Mkporo and Amuri Abuja Mkporo all in Ohafia LGA.

Umunneochi LGA.

Renovation of Classroom blocks at Central School Eziama, Elugwu Nneato and Umuelem primary school Isuochi. Other projects in Umunneochi includes construction of Akawa Aruikpa road, 2 Km phase 1 at Nneato junction, which Hon. Nze Boniface Okorie JP confirmed. He said Nneato people have been suffering until OUK came to deliver the road to them. Another indigene of Nneato known as Hope Adosiobi also testified that Senator Orji is a God sent, who remembered the road which was previously forgotten by Abia State government.

Other interventions includes installation of boreholes at Eziama, Aruikpa, Ezioba Nneato and Umulem community in Isuochi.

Isikwuato LGA.
Renovation of primary school blocks at Echiele primary school Otamkpa and Ahabimenyi primary school.

construction of 3 Km, 2 Km phase 1 at Amaiyi Amaigbo road with good drainage system and asphalt.

Bende LGA.

Construction of 1 Km road from Amoku to Amaku.

Construction of 4 Km, 2 Km phase 1, Amaokwe Item, Uzo rubber and Ohafia main road.

Construction of 2 Km road at Amaeke, Akanu Item with good drainage and asphalt.

Construction of Elele-Ohafia road

Construction of lodu to Ohabimenyi road, 2 Km phase 1.

Construction of 2 Km road with drainage and asphalt at Lohum to Amaeji Imenyi road.

Bar. Victor Etie the legislative aide to Distinguished Senator Orji Uzor, also confirmed the good works of the drainages and very thick asphalted road. Not left out in the plethora of testimonies is Mr Victor Ndubuisi Igwe , President General of Umu Imenyi Autonomous community who opined that him and entire Imenyi community feels so delighted for the kind gesture of Orji Uzor.

Chief Sam Nwachukwu GM, Oxford construction, also said the project attracted by OUK is set for commissionin within schedule.

Construction of Bende to Itumbuzor road 8 Km, 2 Km phase 1.

Construction of erosion site control for rural farmers at Ochiagha Boulevard, University of Igbere.

Rehabilitation of Okafia, Amusi and Onu Ibina erosion site.

Installation and distribution of 300 KVA transformers at Ntalakwu and Amaohoro.

Renovation of primary school blocks at Ozuitem central primary school, Ezi Igbere and Okafia.

Other projects includes provision of motorized water boreholes, at Umuobasi, Igbere secondary school Eziukwu and Okagwe.

Senator Orji Uzor has also empowered Abia North indigenes with thousands of tricycles Keke Napepe), Motorcycles, Sewing machines, Generators, and other life enhancing equipment to help them carry out their daily businesses in his numerous poverty alleviation schemes.

Orji has also given out thousands scholarships to Abia North and Nigerian youths who have distinguished themselves in academics.

With this outstanding records, in just 2 years of being in the Senate, His Excellency Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has proven beyond all reasonable doubt that he is a quintessential leader that has the interest of the people at heart.

The expectation of the people of Abia North for political, social economic and community development has obviously taken a new dimension with the consistent developmental milestones of the Indefatigable Senator who has demonstrated his passion for quality representation at the National Assembly.

From the records so far, this is just the beginning of greater possibilities, which has become another historical legacy of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, there’s a greater hope for Abia North. We keep hope alive!
