The Ikwuano State Constituency House of Assembly member-elect in the just concluded general election, Engr. Boniface Isienyi says his aim of running for the seat of House of Assembly member is borne out of his long nurtured desire to bring about the desired positive change in his Constituency.
Engr. Isienyi, who described himself as an agent of change, coming to positively address the yearnings of Ikwuano constituents, pledged not to betray the trust reposed in him by the people of Ikwuano.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with famousreporters.com, today, Isienyi pointed out that the people of Ikwuano have been earnestly yearning for a change as it regards the style of representation, “and God through the popular vote made their dream come through.
“I shall not disappoint Ikwuano constituents, because I know they expect a lot from me and it is my prayer that God will strengthen me to ensure that I serve them even beyond their anticipations, because I love my people and will never betray them. For choosing me to serve them, I am grateful and thankful and shall prove it to them through my works”, he assured m
Moreso, the Ikwuano born son maintained that his emergence as a House of Assembly legislator-elect was not by his own making but by the special grace of God.
His words, “I am so glad that the prophecy of God came to manifestation today by the special grace of God. It is not by my strength. Whatever that happened today is God. I have witnessed the special grace of God throughout the electioneering period”.
Isienyi, a Labour Party candidate who expressed joy that the journey of nine months (from the electioneering period to the polls) ended in praise, said, “Today, I am so happy, there’s happiness in me and Ikwuano people are happy to elect me. I had a landslide victory and it was so because of the special grace of God”.
