IMO GUBER: TMG Holds Training For Election Observers One of the foremost election observations group, the Transition Monitoring Group has conducted a step down training for election observers in Imo state for the Nov 11 elections. Addressing the participants, the state coordinator of TMG, Ambassador Rose Nwaogwugwu reminded the participants that TMG is committed to the entrenchment of democracy in Nigeria and has been consistent in the mandate for over 30 years. A deputy coordinator, charged the participants to be advocates of democracy, a better Nigeria and for peaceful elections. He reminded them that all the SDG goals work together and as observers they are strong partners and as such should not fail in their roles. The objective of the training is aimed at supporting citizens engagement towards the Nov 11 elections, mobilize and train election observers in the 27 LGAs of the state.
