The winners of the Naira Diary Impact Awards 2022 have been officially announced and recognized for their outstanding contributions.
The event commenced with a call for nominations, during which the public nominated their heroes across various industries and categories.
Numerous individuals and organizations were put forward for consideration, and after careful evaluation by a panel of jurors, five nominees were selected for each category.
These finalists were then subjected to a transparent and open voting process on the Naira Diary website, allowing the public to monitor the leaders in each category as voting progressed.
Ekwutosinam Nsukka, the visionary behind Digital Witch, emerged as the most impactful entrepreneur. Aniekeme Finbarr secured the title of the most impactful influencer, capturing an impressive 50.15% of the votes in his category, surpassing his closest rival, Wendy Amadi from Women in Port Harcourt, who obtained 25.44% of the votes. Barr Nyesom Wike, a distinguished political figure, was honored as the most impactful political office holder, while Marilyn Oma was celebrated as the most impactful writer. Aproko Doctor, renowned for his insightful content, claimed the award for the most impactful content creator, and Zulayhat Bello, popularly known as ‘Zeaty,’ was crowned the most impactful OAP (On-Air Personality).
