He recalled that it was through his efforts that the issue of taxation levelled against the Church was abolished.

Responding, the District Superintendent, Assemblies of God Church, Okaiuga-Nkwoegwu, Rev. Kenneth Ogbubu, described Rev. Amalambu as a product of the Church, who when duly elected will place Ohuhu Constituency on the Altar of God.

He called on the Church to rally round the Umuahia North State Constituency candidate of ADC and give him the maximum support needed to win in the State House of Assembly poll.

In another development, a stakeholder in Ohuhu clan, Mr. Dan Nwokoji has assured Rev. Amalambu that fictitious figures as obtained in the previous elections will not play out in the forthcoming election, thanks to the introduction of BVAS.

Interacting with Rev. Amalambu who paid a visit to him in his residence in Umuawa-Alaocha, Mr. Nwokoji, moreover encouraged him to adopt each one catch one approach, visiting the nooks and crannies of the Constituency.

H seized the opportunity to remind the voters from Nkwoachara ward that the forthcoming general election is their only chance to grab the House of Assembly seat for the first time in the political history of the Constituency.

Nwokoji who expressed optimism on the character and ability of Rev. Amalambu, maintained that due to his pedigree that he can stand election at any time and any day.

Nwokoji who also vowed to embark on aggressive voter education on behalf of the ADC candidate, said, “We will recruit dedicated people, who see the future and who will defend the course and cause of Rev. Amalambu”, even as he insists on ‘onye aghala nwanne ya’ spirit.

In a brief remark, Rev. Blessed Amalambu appreciated Mr. Nwokeji for his support and also seized the opportunity to remind the constituents that the House of Assembly is a place of intelligence not a place to showcase affluence.
