He stressed that leadership is about service, compassion, justice and leaving behind a lasting legacy of positive impact.

In a statement, Otiti appealed to public office holders across the country to remember that political power is temporary, while the impact of their actions on society can endure for generations.

“I am not your enemy. My appeal to every politician is simple: use the office entrusted to you to positively impact humanity, rather than diminish the lives of the people you serve,” he said.

He emphasised that leadership should always be driven by service, compassion and a genuine commitment to the welfare of the people.

According to him, elected and appointed officials should focus on building a legacy of hope, justice and meaningful development, instead of pursuing personal interests at the expense of citizens.

“Leadership is about service, compassion and leaving behind a legacy of hope. The positions you occupy today will not last forever, but the people you serve will remain. You may need their support when circumstances change.”

Otiti further reminded politicians that power is not permanent and that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, fairness and respect regardless of their status.

“Being at the top today does not mean those you meet at the bottom will never rise tomorrow. Treat everyone with dignity, fairness and respect, because life has a way of changing roles.”

He concluded by encouraging Nigerian leaders to ensure that history remembers them for their humanity, integrity, justice and positive contributions to society.
