ABUJA – The National President of the Guild of Online Media Editors and Publishers of Nigeria (GOMEP), Comrade Akpovoke Otiti, is set to lead a high-powered delegation of the association’s national leadership on a courtesy visit to renowned legal luminary and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Dr. Monday Ubani, in Umuahia, Abia State.
According to a statement issued by GOMEP, the visit is aimed at recognising and honouring Dr. Ubani’s unwavering commitment to justice, the rule of law and the protection of civil liberties in Nigeria.
The association described Dr. Ubani as a courageous advocate whose principled positions on national issues, integrity and dedication to the legal profession have earned him widespread admiration across the country.
Speaking ahead of the visit, Otiti noted that Dr. Ubani has consistently served as a strong voice for justice and a defender of the rights of ordinary Nigerians. He added that the respected Senior Advocate’s contributions to democracy, constitutional governance and good governance remain invaluable.
