Ghana govt implements ‘No mask No Entry policy’ … Says Face Shield is not face mask

The fellows and Members of the Ghana Chapter of the West African College of Surgeons and the Ghana Medical Association have decried the hike in the use of face shields and utter negligence to the wearing of masks as protection against dreaded COVID-19.

This was contained in a release jointly signed by Dr. Frank Ankobea and Prof. Peter Donkor, 1st Vice Vice President and Representative

In a release jointly signed by Dr. Frank Ankobea and Prof. Peter Donkor, 1st Vice Vice President and Representative
to Famous Reporters, the group pointed out that the use of the Face Shields alone would not provide the user with the needed protection against COVID-19, “especially in the light of potential air borne spread of the virus from emerging scientific evidence”, the release stated.
