America honored George Floyd Thursday as a memorial service for the father killed in police custody took place in Minneapolis. The memorial service, which was held at North Central University, was not open to the public but was live-streamed by several broadcast networks. Rev. Al Sharpton gave the eulogy at the service. Black entertainment icons Kevin Hart, Tyler Perry, and Tiffany Haddish were among the celebrities at the emotional service. In New York, Floyd’s brother spoke to thousands.
