ECONOMIC ACCELERATION: MSSTI, Ikoh calls for implementation of Executive Order 5

 

 

The Hon Minister of State, Science, Technology & Innovation, Chief Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh has called for sustainable implementation of Executive Order 5 in order to fast track Nigeria’s economic development.

 

The minister made the call at the Establishment and Implementation of Technology and Innovation Centres for Global Competitiveness/Productivity in held in Bauchi State.

 

The Minister, while speaking, emphasised that the major reason for the establishment of the Executive Order 5 by President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, was the consideration that the ambit in business, research and development were the main drivers of innovation for any Nation.

 

The host governor, Senator. Bala Mohammed, on behalf of the State, thanked the Minister and Federal government for deeming it expedient among all the states in the North for choosing Bauchi State to be the first.
