Following the relocation of Abakpa main market to Umahi International Market, Abakpa Traders who feel victimised are currently in agony, saying Governor Umahi is unfair to them despite their support for his re-election.
 

Some of the traders spoke with Famous Reporters while in a rove, amidst tears, as they could hardly dissemble their mixed feelings towards what they described as paying back their good with evil.

One of the traders who pleaded anonymity lamented that the sudden relocation had caused them more harm than the promised good, wailing that some of her colleagues had begun relocating to other state for settlement in a bid to get over their present state of frustration.
 
Others who spoke regretted that the governent of Engr. David Umahi had made life difficult for them as original traders, they recounted could not get shop, adding “the lot one face of the market was bought by state executives, local government chairmen, house of assemble members and other as traders have been thrown to trash”, they wept.

They appealed to the state government and all well meaning Nigerians to come to their rescue, alleging that governent of Ebonyi state has failed the interest of the traders .

Corroboratng, a particular group of persons, who identified themselves as members of Abakpa Non- Governmental Organization who spoke to Famous Reporters unanimously for fear of the government

accused the the Government of Ebonyi state led by Engr David Umahi of failed polices, adding that over 500 shops have been affected and no alternative was provided for them to earn a living .

Meanwhile, Famous reporters also gathered that many traders have made payment through UBA bank but yet no shop has been allocated to them .
